1000-Hour
Demonstration of Hydrogen by Biomass Catalytic Steam Reforming and co-products
(2004)
2004 Bio-refinery Conversion Project at
University of Georgia
DOE estimates that hydrogen
production from biomass is one of the most cost competitive
We are now
implementing a 1000 hour demonstration at the University of Georgia’s
Bioconversion Research facility. In addition to producing hydrogen rich
syn-gas, we will also be producing about 5 tons of a special type of
charcoal.
